Special Note Regarding Club-Fly Days:

The Club field rules require an observer in order to fly at the Florence airport site.  Normally, during the winter informal airport club-fly days are Sunday and Monday mornings.  From May 2 to October 31 airport club-fly days are expanded to include Wednesday and Friday mornings.  On these two additional  airport club-fly days an assigned club member will be at the field at 8:000am to provide an observer if a member wants to fly.  For 2010, John English and Russ Petersen will observe on Wednesdays, and Doug Devereaux and Gene Haynes will observe on Fridays.

       September 18, 2010 - No Flying. Yard Debris drop-off day

September 18, 2010 - Florence Hobby Fair 10:00am to 4:00pm.  Set up at 9:00am to 10:00am.  Break down after 4:00pm.  Check with Gene Haynes (541-997-7014) for any special requirements or arrangements.  Gene will also need to know if you are coming and what you are bringing for display.

(1) Green Events:  Details on these events that are sanctioned by the AMA may be found on the AMA website at:   http://www.modelaircraft.org/comp/contest.htm or information may be found on the appropriate club web site or by contacting the person listed as the club contact.

(2) "Club Float Fly" listings refer to a group of FARCAA members who gather at Woahink lake around 8:00am on the scheduled days and stop flying when the last interested party has left the lake, normally around 11:00am.  AMA members are welcome to join in.  A recovery boat will be provided on these days.
